Peace Corps shows commitment to service in Inaugural March

The Peace Corps Community was honored to be selected from among groups around the country to march in the Presidential Inaugural Parade on January 20, 2009. In the official  Presidential Inaugural Press Release  than President-elect Barrack Obama praised the inclusion of Peace Corps and AmeriCorps alumni stating, "These organizations embody the best of our nation's history, diversity and commitment to service.
